Become a Course Provider
Course Providers deliver the education required for learners to take our qualifications.If you are an organisation wishing to provide education and training leading to the qualifications awarded by DTQ, we are keen to hear from you! We want to give all learners the highest standards of education, so we support our providers and require them to meet our standards of provision. Before you can register your learners for our qualifications, you will need to show that you can meet DTQ’s Accreditation Standards. Accreditation Standards
DTQ Accreditation Standards outline the criteria that course providers must meet in order to be an accredited centre.Guidance is designed to help course providers fully understand the criteria and hence consider them in the design and development of their programmes. This also helps prospective course providers to understand the evidence that must be submitted through the accreditation process.
The Accreditation Standards take into consideration the GDC Standards for Education expected of course providers, and Ofqual standards for recognition of Awarding Bodies.
Support
The DTQ team have an in-depth knowledge of dental education and assessment as well as vast experience and expertise in clinical dentistry, running busy practices, designing qualifications and assessments and examining both throughout the UK and internationally for different awarding institutions.We recognize that a different approach is needed and that new educational providers require support. Our senior team are GDC registrants and provide a professional but personal approach tailored to your individual needs.
Work with us
DTQ recruits new people by assessing all potential officers based upon the job and personal specifications, their curriculum vitae, and by taking references for all appointments from suitable referees. All new appointments have to undergo a full induction process and are subject to a probationary period appropriate to the role specification.
Examinerships
We have a group of trained and experienced examiners all of whom are GDC registered dental professionals. DTQ provides training and qualifications for colleagues who wish to further their career in dental education, learning and assessment.
